Winter shows up early in Mountain Home, and by the time most people think about Christmas lights, the roof is already icy and the wind is blowing. Hanging strands in those conditions is cold, slow, and risky, and taking them down in January is even worse. Plenty of folks end up leaving the display dark or skipping it altogether.
We handle the whole season for you. We plan a layout for your roofline, porch, trees, fence line, or ranch entrance, then install everything with clips that don’t damage gutters, shingles, or metal roofing. Timers turn the display on and off on their own. Because Mountain Home is far out on our route, we book installs and takedowns on planned trips and group nearby customers, so early booking makes everything easier.
We know how early winter comes to Mountain Home and plan installs so they're up before the roof turns icy.
Ladders, safety gear, and clips made for metal roofs, shingles, and gutters let us install without drilling or nails.
We'll tell you which parts of your property will really shine and where lights would just be a headache.
We pick up packaging, clips, and scraps after installs and takedowns so your yard looks the same as before.
At around 7,000 feet, Mountain Home tends to see winter weather well before the holidays. Once snow and ice settle onto a roof, it gets harder and less safe to work up there, and a calm, dry day becomes hard to find. That’s why we push for installs in the fall, while the weather is still workable.
Getting your lights up early doesn’t mean turning them on early. Timers stay off until the date you pick, whether that’s right after Thanksgiving or the first of December. Booking early also helps us group your install with other Mountain Home customers on a planned trip out.
A fall install also gives us time to test everything. If a section is dim or a connection acts up, we can sort it out right then instead of waiting for a cold December evening to find the problem.
Holiday lighting out here doesn’t stop at the roofline. A lit entrance arch or gate at the end of a long lane is something people notice from the road. Barns, shop fronts, and fence rails near the house can be outlined too, and a few wrapped trees by the yard go a long way.
We plan those layouts with power in mind, since outlets on outbuildings and gate posts are often few and far between. We’ll tell you what makes sense to light and what would mean running cords somewhere they’ll get buried or chewed. If you’d rather not deal with seasonal strands at all, permanent property lighting mounts along your roofline once and works for every holiday after that.
Wind and snow are hard on holiday lights. Strands that are loosely hooked to gutters can whip around, pull free, and break bulbs. Wrapped trees can lose a section when heavy snow bends the branches. We hang lights with clips that grip firmly, keep connections off the ground, and route cords so they stay out of plow paths and drifts.
We also make sure your connections are protected from moisture and that the load on each outlet stays reasonable. A tidy, well secured install is the difference between a display that lasts the season and one that needs constant fixing.
Every property is different, so we walk it with you before we quote. Here’s what we look at:
Taking lights down in a Mountain Home January is no fun, which is exactly why we do it for you. We schedule takedowns on planned trips after the holidays, working around the weather. Strands are coiled, labeled, and either returned to you or stored for next year.
While we’re on the roof, we keep an eye out for heavy snow buildup or ice along the eaves. If we see a problem, we’ll let you know, and roof snow raking can be added to a visit to take weight off the edges.
Many of our Mountain Home holiday light customers also use us for winter work. When your property is already on our seasonal route, it’s easy to check on your display during a plow visit or fix a strand that came loose in the wind. Our snow removal crew keeps the lane and driveway open so friends and family can actually make it out to see the lights.
Bundling services means fewer separate trips out, and it keeps everything on one plan from fall through spring. It also means one call covers your lights, your lane, and your walks, instead of juggling a few different contractors in the middle of winter.
We walk your home, outbuildings, and entrance, talk about the look you want, and note outlets and roof types.
You get a written quote that covers design, lights, installation, timers, takedown, and storage if you want it.
Crews install your display on a planned fall trip, test every strand, and set timers to your schedule.
After the holidays we take everything down, label it, store or return it, and get you on next year's list.
